Recovery from Narcissistic Abuse
you have made it out"You have made it out. Now it is time to help your body, your brain, your world begin to calm down. You don't feel safe yet."
Recovery is learning all the ways your brain learned to live with abuse, and reworking the parts that are now wired for danger. Maybe small decisions feel hard, you ask permission for everything, or you apologize all the time. You're not crazy. That's what living with it does to a person, and it can be undone.
We start with safety, and we don't rush. It takes time, and I'll be in it with you.
